It requires existing wiring from a previous doorbell as well as a user installed Wi-Fi system that uses either 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, or both. The app on this doorbell is compatible with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa so you can control your doorbell using only your voice The doorbell also has a microSD Card slot, so this bundle includes a Verbatim 16 GB Class 10 microSDHC Card with Adapter so you can store footage onboard. The camera can also work with optional Cloud storage for other image backup options. The DB1 doorbell comes with 3 face plates as well as flat and angled mounting brackets.
